Our October meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Friendship Park Community Center. This is a special Meet the Candidates Night, and our meeting will begin at 5:45 pm, with a short meeting at 6 PM in the dining room. The dinner will be a variety of pizza including vegetarian, salad & bread sticks, from J-Cups & Marco’s. We will have dessert & coffee in the large meeting room at 6:45 PM. Meet the Candidates Night will begin at 7 PM. This gives PPBA members and the public time to mingle and talk to the candidates, one on one.

All candidates on the November ballot have been invited to speak. This includes candidates for Toledo Mayor & City Council, Toledo & Washington Local School Boards and Judges. Speakers on the issues have also been invited. The majority of the candidates have confirmed that they are attending. They have until October 13 to pre-register. Some of the candidates will be joining us for dinner. Please make an effort to introduce yourself and invite them to sit with you.

If you have signed up to help, please arrive at 5:30 pm.

The dinner is free for members. Cost is $10 for guests. Reservations are required for dinner. Sign into http://ppba.memberlodge.com to make your reservation by Monday, October 16, 2017.
